Gold Experien Su :
Geranium RED :

Marco Velez : Love the video, definitely helpful and informative. Your narration is awesome and jokes on point you're absolutely hilarious I had to subscribe cause you made me laugh
Paige Whitmire : What if it is only 220 v
Jared Root : Priceless! Excellent video!
andres toledo : Jaja OSHA That’s good one
Steven Hawkins : The color of the wires at the plug did not match the colors at the motor.
Anthony Rodriguez : wow, I got really confuse at the minute 1:35 to replace the plug you had black, white , and green, but then at the minute 4:50 on the other end of the extension cord you had RED, black, and green?
Juan Serna : If the machine I have doesn’t have both 110/220, it’s only 220, how can I convert it from 220 to 110? Thx.
Benjamin Charley : Does this also go for shop air compressors, brand new from store.... thx for your time
Marc Hoffman : Can you use an adapter rather than rewiring? Not a transformer, just one of those adapters that let's you plug it into 110 outlets. I just bought a 220 volt water pump for someone in the Philippines. Before I ship it there I want to test it. It came with an adapter for a 110 volt outlet but does not work at all. I thought it would at least work slowly. Can you offer any advice? Thank you
MyUnquenchableThirst : this was informative and hilarious!

How to Get 220v From 110v How to easily get 240V for your welder with just two 120V outlets. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING THIS UNLESS YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH YOUR SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT! This video is a DEMONSTRATION OF WHAT WORKS FOR MY EQUIPMENT ONLY! I do not recommend you build the exact device like I did in this video. I would recommend you hire a professional for your electrical needs. The wire size should be capable of carrying the amps your breakers are rated at and the breakers should be tied together so they will both trip together. The device I built in this video, regardless of the actual components is only good for a 15 amp device. My particular welder (on the settings I use) draws 15 amps or less and that is why I am able to use the device I built in this video without burning up the leads. I have measured the amp draw of my welder so I know exactly what amps it uses at my settings. Just be aware if you are not sure or just don't know what your device draws, it's possible you may have dangerous results trying to duplicate my version of this device. You could be seriously hurt or killed if you are not sure what you are doing. Enjoy the video but be safe!

Matt Woody : Hi did you just marret the whites together
Kevin MULLIN : America should begin phasing out the 120v/60hz supply and the dangerous startled face NEMA sockets ("outlets") and instead adopt the 230v/50hz standard. And at the same time, adopt Celsius (don't think any other country on earth measures in Fahrenheit). And maybe just go the whole hog and start writing dates like the rest of the world too: DD/MM/YYYY. Stop being difficult 'Murica
Patrick Ironwood : good job
Just me Just me : Your "workaround" of remembering to not do something will work MOST of the time but it just takes once. Generators hooked up to house breaker box requires an interlock at the bare minimum, because you can forget to turn off the mains BEFORE you connect the generator circuit. Something that won't let you do that even if you forget to do it yourself really should be required, it just takes once, one time of you being absent minded or distracted. Stay safe man, both from covid and electrical problems.
sonichuizcool : Ive used this for years in my dryer. I dont have 220... so i do this to give my dryer full power
gary hentges : I wanted to do this but instead of a box I would like to wire it to a recepticle I have. Will it be just as safe?
JC and The Moto Heads : Would this work if plugged into 2 separate 12v dc to 120v ac power inverters.
12v solar battery bank to 2 separate 120v power inverter, going into a Panel. 120v on each terminal. Neutral bar tied to ground in panel? Ground tied to copper rod going into earth.
I know the panel could provide 120v to single breakers, but could it handle a double pole breaker at 240? Assuming I had a large enough battery bank and power inverters size to handle the load.
The two 120v power inverter running of same battery bank.
Erik HOPE-SAUNDERS : This needs to be on 2 separate phases bud. You can damage your welder.
Jaypee Castillo : Can you check both the plug for continuity to see if one hot for the small side of the plug and one hot for the big side.thanks
